Getting To Know Me

Well I just thought maybe I should pause for awhile and talk more about myself.  A lovely lady I follow gave me such a marvellous idea to make it simple to share a bit of me to the rest of the virtual world.  Who knows, maybe one fine looking man may get lost, then find his way into my Blog.  That would be really romantic, eh?  Then I can write a short story about it.

So Getting To Know Me:  TRICKIE
What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Washing the car.  I don’t mind the wet part, it’s the drying part that gets me.

2.      What is your favorite body part?
I really like leggy people.  I also love my legs and feet.  They probably are also my best body parts.  I could always say my breasts, since I know that’s what men look at first, and then they see my legs; I know exactly what they are thinking.  I am quite smug about this.

Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
I am surprised this is a serious question.  I look a little bit like Sofia Vergara mainly because of the Latina in our blood.  But she is Colombian, and I am Spanish.  I also have dark brown hair.  I am not so sure if that is Sofia’s real hair color now that she is an actress, her hair used to be a little blonde.  And she is totally hot.  Muy Caliente!  I am just a little hot.

4.      What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?
Maybe you will hate me for this, but I cried buckets at DEAR JOHN.

What story does your family always tell about you?
That ever since I was 4 years, the only way you can get me out of a pool, the sea, the beach or out of water is if you tell me my skin looks old.  You know how your skin wrinkles up when you’re under water for too long a time?  I love swimming.  My mother used to say I will soon have scales and a tail.  And I actually wanted to be Arielle, so that didn’t scare me at all!

6.      What do you love about Blogging?
Blogging is my creative release.  I feel very exhilarated when I finish a written work and Blogging has allowed me to do this.  I am very private about most things.  But this venue has helped me become more expressive.  In person I am really very shy.

7.      What are your passions?
I am a Women’s Rights advocate.

I am likewise very active in community education to Save Our Seas.

I am very passionate about Domestic Violence and Child Abuse/Prostitution.  I can imagine myself dying and killing for it.

I am supposed to ask people to link and use this as an opportunity to know my followers more.
But if you find the Questions interesting enough, I hope to see you answer these in your Blogs.
Well, this is me.  If you have more questions, I will definitely answer them.

You seem like a nice person. i find it hard to
talk about myself on my blog so I congatulate you
on a job well done
I just put poems and art up, both of which can be very strange at times but usually not so bad you can't get the jist of what Im talking about.
I have a problem with thinking what I writr i not interesting. No matter what compliment or if I get lucky and make a good poem i still think I'll never make anything good again, my art and painting and music (guitar) comes more naturally.

Trickie, the revamp you've done on your blog looks good. It's a nice simple layout which always works best. It's also nice of you to share a bit about yourself. It gives a sense of the person behind the fictional words which make up the greater part of your blog. By the way, I'm not sure how long you've been writing, but your stories so far are really well crafted. Have you been trained at all?

p.s. I find your passions very admirable. Right on Trickie!..

If I can find the time between headaches from writing papers I will try this on my blog. <3

The pictures you post will certainly draw interest -- at least from the male visitors.

I once wore a Xena in a very leggy pose, and for the rest of the day, I found out how ladies felt as guys kept looking at my chest while talking to me. "Hey, Ralph, my eyes are up here!"

There are no famous Lakota actors so no one mistakes me for an actor -- though I often get asked if I was one of the extras in the werewolves in TWILIGHT. Sigh.

Your blog design is lovely, Roland

Oops. I meant a Xena T-shirt. That'll teach me not to edit. Roland

Dear Rivercat,
Your poetry is lovely. But if you are more relaxed doing your art, then draw some more and post it. It is easier to talk about me in writing. It takes a while for me to warm to new friends and talk about myself. The Blog helps.

Thank you very much, WSD, coming from you I treasure that as good compliment. I had formal training in wine making. But not writing. I wish I did. Maybe I will. I have a Journal since I was a child. I brought that journal to write things since I was a child. Words. Being multi-lingual I wanted to write down words or phrases that I see. Every time I travelled, I love to sit in an Al Fresco Cafe' and watch people. I make up stories in my head about the different people I see. Like a character sketch. I also like my layout better now. It is easier for the eyes.

Dear Roseanna, I hope your headache eases up so you can post a Blog like this too. Thanks.

Dear Roland,
Thank you for the follow. I love pictures of women. If I could only sketch, I would like to try nudes. The anatomy fascinates me. And I am Spanish. In Spain, a sexy body is not thin or reed-like. Women should be like wine, full bodied and more to love, more to enjoy. And I write romance and sex fiction. It comes with the marketing. (wink!) thank you for your comment and for making time. I would love to follow your Blog too.

Besos a todos!

Trickie, that's impressive because you really do have a natural way with putting a story together and painting your characters with words. Keep it up!

Love the new look on your blog, Trickie.

And it's funny, my parents used to say the same when I wouldn't get out of the water (that I'd get a tail), which was rather encouraging to stay in.

Look forward to reading more stories ;)
